Staying in Spirit

I spoke about staying in your spirit this weekend it was just a small group of new speakers. I expressed to them that it is not only important to stay in spirit (centered) it is imperative. When we are off center we do not appear genuine or authentic. Here is the amazing part staying in spirit is not as hard as we make it. It does not matter what your spiritual beliefs staying connected to God is the ultimate experience. I don’t know what you believe but I am going to share something I believe that may shock you or rock your world in some way. If you are not ready to be opened up to a new idea or thought about how we experience God then stop reading right now!!
Most of us can agree that God is everywhere, right “yes”, so if God is everywhere then God is in us “Correct”? So if God is in us then we are “God” right? If we are God or Spirit then we are always in Spirit we just have to trust and believe that we are God. The Spirit is in us we don’t have to look any further than our selves.
Being practical I want you to do some exercise that will help you stay connected and in Spirit.
1. Learn how to take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale out through your mouth as you do this bring your awareness down to your solar plexus’s area near your stomach. Notice how it feels many of you will experience it as empty but look and feel further and you will notice it is calm and peaceful in your center, in your connection.
2. Start your morning either with a meditation or just a peaceful moment of reflection on the beautiful morning and the beginning of a productive day.
3. Listen to inspirational speakers or videos, easy to find on youtube.com i.e. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4zWBHFCmXM copy and past this link into your browser.

– A man is but the product of his thoughts; what he thinks, he becomes. – Mahatma Gandhi
